Peer Supporters are trained by the University Counselling Service in listening and supporting other students with their problems. If there’s anything you want to talk about, whether it’s a big problem or whether it’s “not actually a problem at all” and you just want a chat over a cup of tea, come and find them in College or drop them an Email. Peer support is confidential, so they won’t gossip about you or tell others what you’ve said.
If you are interested in becoming a Peer Supporter yourself, training usually takes place in Hilary Term. Get in touch with one of the current Peer Supporters to discuss training.
